Daniel repeatedly lies against others by misrepresenting what they say in order to attack them. Even when refuting kufaar, our deen insists on being fair to them and not lying about them.

Allaah (swt) says: “O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both.” (Qur'aan, 4:135)

Justice must be practiced even with those who we disagree with, even if they are upon deviation! Yet even if they are upon kufr!
